西英格蘭大學University of the West of England成立於1970年，於1992年升格為西英格蘭大學。西英格蘭大學目前有4個主要校區 Frenchay(主校區)、Bower Ashton、St Matthias及Glenside，擁有9個學院、300個學位課程，目前就讀中的學生人數約3萬人，其中大學部學生約占2萬4千人，研究生約6千人。
布里斯托國際學院(Bristol International College)為Kaplan語言中心與西英格蘭大學的合作學院，幫助來自世界各國的學生進入西英格蘭大學的大學部和研究所就讀，並提供優質的英語課程與專業課程以及一流的師資。學生在完成課程並達到指定入學標準後，即可直接進入西英格蘭大學的大學部或研究所課程就讀。
